Shelter Holiday Party - date TBA

We will be having a Holiday Party for all of our families, during which we will make gingerbread houses and decorate cookies. We'll listen to some lovely holiday music as well. We plan on having two "shops" full of presents, one for the parents and one for the children. The parents "shop" (free of charge, of course!) for gifts for their kids and the kids "shop" for gifts for their parents.

Past Activities

Our First Annual Auction took place on October 25th and was a great success, due to the incredibly generous support of our auction attendants, our volunteers and speakers, and the many Portland businesses who donated for the auction. This event helped us make almost $28,000 which is a huge success for our very first auction. We are grateful for all of you -- and know that your efforts will go a long way toward helping us to provide food, shelter, and transitional services for families experiencing homelessness in Portland.

Our goal is to improve the lives of the people who reside as guests in our shelter.

Our mission is to provide a temporary safe haven for homeless families, access to transitional services, and advocacy for social change that eliminates homelessness.
