Shelter Needs

Thanks for the generosity of everyone who has donated items to us! Your overwhelming kindness makes an immediate difference in the lives of our shelter guests.

It's Christmas time, and we could use some help giving our families a wonderful holiday experience! Please consider donating the following items:

• Toys, warm clothes, and other new presents for kids
• Presents for adults, such as colognes, warm clothes, slippers, chocolates, gift certificates, etc.
• Your time to help put on a Christmas party for the families in the shelter
• Wrapping paper

• Christmas ornaments and lights
• Other Holiday decorations that we can put in the Lounge and kitchen (wreaths, table cloths, candles, center pieces, etc.)

Currently, we are also in need of the following items and are taking donations only of these items:

• Bus Tickets
• Children's DVDs (e.g. Disney or Pixar)
• Fred Meyer Gift Certificates of $25-$50
• Full size & twin FLAT sheets
• Breakfast food (granola bars, juice boxes, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit)
• Small sample-size packages of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shaving gel, razors, deodorant, toothpaste
• Luggage or duffel bags to give to guests to store their personal belongings

If you have any of these items and would like to donate them to the shelter, you can drop them off in our "donation" box at the shelter or contact Brandi at 503-228-3195 x215.
